Friday night is nostalgic rock night! I don’t want to use the term “classic rock”. My choice of music says so much about my age! I am freaking old!! HAHAHA!!! But make no mistake, Def Leppard is one of the geniuses of the music industry itself. An icon with some of the best power ballads from the 80s and 90s. How I wish I could go back in time and change a few things!

This song is also from 25 years ago. I cried when I first heard it. Has been one of my favorites ever since. Reminds me of a girl I was never really able to “get” at that time. She and her family migrated to the United States and I lost all hope. Now here I am again, same feeling but different girl and different situation. (*sigh*)

It doesn’t matter now if it’s a specific person, we just want a trustworthy, loving and most of all, God-given life partner as we grow older. BUT NOT ALL OF US WILL HAVE SPOUSES. I guess some of us just want that kind of intimacy we so long for.
